Wanderlust Video is headed by Eric Long, a documentary filmmaker, photographer, and storyteller living in Ocean Beach San Diego with a film production degree from San Diego State University. He has worked on civil rights documentaries which have screened in over 20 cities within the United States, Morocco, France, Belgium, Spain, and the Netherlands, reaching tens of thousands around the world including “My Mahkzen and Me,” and “475: When Marriage becomes punishment.
Films he has produced, directed, scored, or sound designed have been screened and honored at the FiSahara International Film Festival, the Los Angeles Film Festival of Cinematic Arts, the Palm Springs AMFM Film Festival, the Laughlin International Film Festival, and the Libya Movie Awards.
Wanderlust Video is responsible for the documentary “Into the Moment,” which deals with the pursuit of happiness through the perseverance of challenge, and has also worked as a videographer filming live events and festivals featuring artists such as Steppenwolf and Blue Oyster Cult, and events including the Listen for Life International Concert for Peace, the PBS Live at the Belly Up TV series, California Roots Festival, the Catalina Swing Festival, the San Diego Ballet’s world premier of “Don Juan”, and the SIMA Image Awards.
His 2013 award winning narrative film “The Vagabond Psalm,” is currently being played in film festivals, while he is working on the upcoming Operation HOT documentary, which was shot in Afghanistan and Kuwait in the summer of 2013 with a team of Celebrity Chefs and entertainers in collaboration with the United States Military.
